:: FASHION QUEST: FANTASTIC VOYAGE ::

This was the first thing I saw when we started our exploration -- *googly eyes*
A shoulder to lean on
lady-like bags!
adorable little spotted coat
My beautiful friend, Mequilla. This cape was perfection down to its very collar. See it in full glory further in this post.
I will have everything in this case please!
the space was full of lady like bags and hard case clutches!
Emanuel Ungaro cape. I almost literally cried when I couldn't take it home with me. Keep hope alive!
Mequilla in this shimmery, Missoni - esque gown. Pictures don't do it any justice.
another shimmery number. She looked AMAZING in this pleated palazzo pant/jumpsuit sort of deal.
vintage fur capelet and black cape that Mequilla almost didn't get! Can you believe that?! Close call.
Isn't this maxi lame cape super fantastic?! I felt like a glamorous superhero.
Ungaro blazer/Byblos cashmere cardigan --both ended up coming home with me :)
vintage treasures and ostrich feathers :)
Super, ginormous post here folks! I didn't have any other alternative but to post almost everything I took. Well, you know...the best ones and such. So, I edited and whittled down some shots, made collages so that you wouldn't be scrolling to eternity and here you have it.

My friend Mequilla (pronounced ma-key-ya) told about this space that she frequents often and how that had such amazing pieces at great prices. So, we made a point to visit when they were holding their monthly trunk show. I had SO much fun sifting through countless racks...ok, I'm lying. I had SO much fun watching Mequilla sift through countless racks! I don't really possess the patience for that kind of stuff, but I'm getting better. That is how I found my wonderful blazer and cardigan. If only I could have bought that Emanuel Ungaro cape!! It had some moth holes in it (those moth bastards eating away at the apple of my eye) but I still felt and instant connection with it. But the price was a little bit too rich for this little poor girl. Sadly, I put it back on the rack and hung my head in despair. You could hear my heart breaking in Paris! Ah, well...perhaps there is still hope :)

Major thanks to Shelly Moore and The Frockettes (cute, right?) for their hospitality and great eye for vintage!
