I recently headed out to one of many fabulous W Hotel locations here in Atlanta. This night, it was W Downtown at their rooftop, poolside lounge, WET. It was my favorite chica's birthday and DJ Double Dutch (one of the coolest girls in town) was spinning. So me, my favorite guy and favorite chica went out to support and to bring in the special day right at midnight. And, I don't think I need to tell you that it was super fantastic!
It's official. Color has unabashedly invaded my world and commandeered all of my somber tones and shades of gray. It started small, then little by little I could feel the gravitational pull. I couldn't control my wandering eye. My love of gray and black wasn't so appealing anymore. I guess this means that we're breaking up, black and I. Perhaps, it's just a phase. Who knows? I was proud to get some versatile summer pieces as well as some spring/summer basics that I have been waiting to buy because I was imagining how much it all was going to cost me. Ahh, I love H&M. Sometimes I just roam around hoping that something would catch my eye, then other times such as this, I felt like I had won the lottery. Well, sort of...

I have been a busy little bee this past week, juggling work and play...though play was more like work or better yet, net-work-ing. This particular event was for Cocktails & Couture hosted by Project Runway finalist, Anthony L. Williams held at the W Buckhead posh night venue, Whiskey Blue. I love that these pictures are infused with color! I told you guys that I was inviting color into my life and I must say, I like it!
Me and the bestie (see his amazing work, here) went to Aurum Lounge in Midtown last night to celebrate makeup artist, Mimi Johnson's birthday. Let me just say this, 1 margarita + 1 cosmopolitan = fun evening. And that my friends, is the recipe for success for any party situation.
